Adventist school sign-up expo Feb. 2
Galt Adventist School will host Artists & Authors Education Expo on Feb. 2 at 5:30 p.m. The event will include a student art exhibit and writing presentation, hors d’oeuvres, and refreshments, as well as preregistration for the 2023-24 school year. Fatima society crab dinner Feb. 4
The Our Lady of Fatima Society of Thornton will hold a crab dinner on Feb. 4 at the Stockton Ballroom. Preordered takeout will be available 4-6 p.m., no-host cocktails 6-7:30 p.m. Dinner starts at 7:30 p.m. Dancing follows at 9 p.m. No outside food or beverages are allowed.

Lodi Parkinson’s support group meeting Feb. 6
A Parkinson’s disease support group meeting for patients and caregivers will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Feb. 6, at the north end of GracePoint Church, 801 S. Lower Sacramento Road, in Lodi. Free culinary workshops in February
Galt Adult School is offering two free culinary workshop series starting in February. “Eating Smart and Being Active” consists of nine sessions on Tuesdays from Feb. 7 to April 11 (excluding April 4), 6-8 p.m. Participants will learn how to eat healthy, stay active and save money on food. “Pizza and Quick Breads” involves three sessions on Saturdays, Feb. 11, 18 and 25, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Participants will cook and sample pizza and quick breads.

St. Martin fundraiser dinner Feb. 18
St. Martin Foundation, which aims to open transitional housing in Elk Grove, will hold a spaghetti and bingo fundraiser dinner on Feb. 18 at the Littleton Community Center. Starting at 5:30 p.m., the event will include five bingo games, a raffle and no-host bar. Tickets cost $35 and include dinner, one bingo card and a door prize entry.
