Community Cleanup

Galt Beautification Committee will hold its monthly cleanup this Saturday, Jan. 11 from 9 a.m. to noon. Volunteers should meet behind Rite Aid on Twin Cities and Carillion Boulevard. This month’s goal is to target Carillion. This is a family affair. Bring your kids and help teach them about community pride.

Galt Lions Crab & Shrimp Feed

Galt Lions Club will hold its Crab & Shrimp Feed on Saturday, Jan. 18 at the Littleton Community Center, 420 Civic Drive in Galt. Cost is $50 per person with all-you-can-eat crab, shrimp, two pastas, salad and rolls. The 6:30 p.m. dinner will be preceded with no-host cocktails at 5:30 p.m. Music will be provided by a local DJ, and there will be a raffle and dancing. There will be wine upon request during dinner while supplies last, and a $10 corkage fee for outside wine. All proceeds benefit the Galt Lions Service Projects. Lady of Fatima Crab Feed

Our Lady of Fatima Society of Thornton will hold its Crab Feed on Saturday, Feb. 1 at the Stockton Ballroom, 9650 Thornton Road in Stockton.

First seating for no-host cocktails will be 3:30-4:30 p.m., with dinner at 4:30 p.m. Second seating for cocktails is 6:30-7:30 p.m., with dinner at 7:30 p.m. A dance starts at 9 p.m., with The Jay Rolerz Band. Tickets are $55, and no outside alcohol or beverages are allowed.

Bingo in Wilton

The Wilton History Group monthly Bingo Night fundraiser is the first Saturday of each month. Players must be 18 years of age to play and be at the event. Proceeds from Bingo will be divided between the Wilton History Group and the Wilton Community Center nonprofits.
