Winter Bird Festival Feb. 6

The city of Galt will hold its annual Winter Bird Festival Feb. 6 with virtual tours, keynote speaker, bird drawing classes and student art contests. Virtual tours and keynote speaker presentations begin at 9 a.m. Saturday. Herald Community Club Chili Cook-off Feb. 13

Herald Community Club will hold its Chili Cook-off and membership drive on Saturday, Feb. 13 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at 11320 Twin Cities Road in Galt. A $5 fee includes entry and membership.

Come enjoy some tasty homemade chili. Enter your prize-winning chili, or just come and taste. Come meet your neighbors and community partners. Social distancing and masks are encouraged.
