Mr. and Mrs. Al Trueman and son Allen of Galt visited Mr. and Mrs. Joe Klaner of Valensin last Friday night.

Mr. Hurvy Gary suffered a sprained back several weeks ago and has been off work for over a week already. He feels somewhat better now.

Little Susan Koellman, who fell from her father’s automobile a week ago, is recovering from many bruises and abrasions she suffered from the fall.

Mrs. Charlotte Templeton, Miss Melba Olson and Mrs. Thelma Miller flew to Humboldt, Iowa Oct. 20 to attend open house for the 50th wedding anniversary of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.M. Olson.

Janette Talcott of Herald celebrated her 7th birthday Nov. 4 with her family … Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Talcott celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary on Nov. 8.

Laura Williams with a 516 series and 200 game paced the Tuesday morning Minnie Ha Ha Bowling League … Farmers & Merchants Bank rolled high team series for the Galt Men’s Handicap bowling team on Nov. 5, led by George Fox with a high series of 548.

Nov. 13, 1980

Due to popular demand, the Galt Flea Market is extending to two days a week, according to Gladys Martinez, manager. The flea market will now be open on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The Warrior Band took third place at the Del Oro Marching Band competition on Saturday, beating out marching band great, St. Mary’s from Stockton.

Chandra Kay Baldridge and Roger Dee Hollison recited nuptial vows Sept. 6 at the Full Gospel Community Church in Elk Grove.
