The wedding of Miss Rhea Duttle to Jack Parsons of Stockton took place last Saturday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F.G. Duttle, parents of the bride. Miss Duttle has been a member of the Galt High School faculty until June of this year.
Sunday, June 25, 1939 marks 50 years chartered existence of the Christian church of Galt and, in recognition of the fact, there will be all-day services in the church.
The Galt Cleaning and Dyeing Shop, which has been operated by Mr. and Mrs. Ed Robertson, has been sold to Mrs. A.E. Grube. The Galt shop is located in the Stefan building on B Street.
June 24, 1949
Mr. and Mrs. James Price, the former Miss Melba La Donna Crosson, are honeymooning in Los Angeles, Long Beach and Santa Monica following their marriage last Friday evening in the Galt Community Methodist Church.
Robert E. Hart and Marvin D. Hamilton were injured in a collision of their automobiles on Highway 99, north of Galt, early Monday morning.
The newest baby born to Galt parents this June is a son born to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Biederman, Monday, June 20 at the Buchanan Hospital in Lodi. The baby has been named Brent E.
Garold Lee is the name given to the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Murray, born June 2 in the Buchanan Hospital, Lodi.
A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Albert Wharton June 4.

Mrs. Marie Lawrence, for the past five years city clerk for the city of Galt, has resigned her position ad will accept a post in Sacramento as personal secretary at a large increase in salary.
Rodney Verne Perry claimed Jane McCall as his bride in a double ring ceremony held Sunday, June 21. Rev. Lawrence Green performed the 2 p.m. rites at the Galt Methodist Church. William McCall gave his daughter in marriage.
June 26, 1969
Mrs. Michiye Yenokida has won a Japan Air Lines-Japanese American Citizens League fellowship for Asiatic studies at Sophia University in Tokyo this summer. Mrs. Yenokida is one of four winners of the nationwide competition.
Al Weakley was installed as president of the Galt Lions Club June 14 at the New Yorker Café in Lodi, along with his newly elected slate of officers.

The engagement of Heidi Merkins and Bill Dickstein was announced at a dinner party held at the bride-elect’s parents home on May 26. A champagne toast by the parents of the bride-elect announced the happy news to those present.
Karen Ann Seifert, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reinhold Seifert of Acampo, recently announced her engagement to Dwight Schaal. He is the son of the Reverend and Mrs. Herbert A. Schaal of Lodi.
Robin Gail Parton of Galt and Louie Mello of Lathrop became husband and wife when they recited nuptial vows June 16 at the First Baptist Church in Lodi.
Elizabeth Shults and Robert Steven were united in marriage June 25 in the Starlight Chapel in Reno, Nevada, when Warren Rockroat performed the double ring ceremony.
