Sunday, Sept. 11 at high noon, the St. Christopher Catholic Church of Galt was the setting of the formal wedding of Agata Menicucci, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Menicucci, and Bill Marty, son of Mr. and Mrs. Antone Marty.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Listini, the former Miss Lydia Ferriera of Thornton, were the honored guests at a reception and shower Sunday afternoon in the Thornton Community Club House.
Miss Eugenia Pucinelli, niece of Mrs. C. Fugazi, and formerly of Los Angeles, is now residing in Galt with her aunt. Miss Pucinelli is the eighth grade teacher at Galt Elementary School.

Ben Salas, manager of the Galt Mission Chapel, will act as Community Chairman for the 1960 United Crusade campaign in Galt, it was announced this week.
Mrs. Cedro Casado and Mrs. Elmer Evers have been working in the Galt Department Store since Mrs. Ray Airone has been ill. Mrs. Airone returned from Lodi Memorial Hospital over a week ago.

Russell Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Smith of Galt, has been selected as the Boy Scout Delta District “Report to the Nation” nominee.
Mrs. Frances Shelley of Galt, a general supply clerk at the Sacramento Army Depot, has been nominated to receive an achievement award at the Army Materiel Command cost reduction national awards ceremonies Dec. 10-11 at Huntsville, Ala.

The Galt City Council accepted the proposed Live Oak Terrace subdivision by a unanimous vote after months and months of work by the developer of the project.
Diane Louise Dameron of Galt and Richard Thomas Allen recited wedding vows, written by them, at their wedding on Sept. 15 at the Galt United Methodist Church.
