Baby/Toddler Stay & Play for early childhood (0-2½) meets Saturdays at 10 a.m., for a supervised and shared playtime with music, rhymes and books.

Bilingual Family Storytime (ages 0-5) every Tuesday, 6 p.m., with songs, rhymes, stories and movement in English and Spanish.

ESL Coach for adults is available Fridays at 1 p.m., with an experienced English-as-a-Second-Language teacher to improve skills in speaking, reading, writing for all ages, free. Contact the library at 1-800-209-4627 or in person.

Galt Friends of the Library meets third Friday of month at 10 a.m.

Homework Zone for school age (6-12) is available Tuesdays at 3 p.m., and Wednesdays at 2 p.m., for two hours of free assistance offered to students in grades K-8 by volunteer coaches. Parents who accompany students need to remain in the building while children are in the Homework Zone.

Job Coaching for adults is available Fridays from 1-3 p.m. Get one-on-one help finding, applying and interviewing for your next job. A volunteer will help you use the database of JobNow that offers live help fixing resumes and provides links to job websites. Drop-in visits are welcome, or schedule an appointment by calling 1-800-209-4627.

Library Book Club for adults meets every second Friday of the month at 10 a.m., to discuss books and ideas.

Paws Read to the Dogs program for school age children (6-12) meets Saturdays at 10:30 a.m., where children can read aloud to a quiet, friendly dog and adult volunteer that are both a part of Therapy Dogs, Inc., a nationwide program.

Preschool Story Time for early childhood (ages 3-5) meets Thursdays at 10 a.m., and includes stories, action rhyme songs, activities and crafts for a playful early literacy program.

Reading Kids book club for school age children (8-12) meets the first Friday of the month (except holidays) at 3:30 p.m., on a recurring basis, to read a book chosen by the Reading Kids or Librarian. Registration is required, and edible treats are served.

Seed Library is provided by Friends of the Galt Library and is located in the southwest corner of the main library floor space. Grab some seeds to grow your own vegetables, herbs and flowers.

Tech Help offered Wednesday – Saturday, 1-5 p.m., one-on-one by appointment, for using computer, tablet or smart phone or downloading library ebooks.

Teen Book Club for ages 13-18 meets third Friday of the month at 3:30 p.m., to discuss chosen book of the month and enjoy snacks.
