Cheyanne is an approximately 3-year-old spayed female Australian Kelpie/Labrador Retriever mix who weighs approximately 50 lbs. This highly energetic and outgoing girl is looking for an active family to give her the loving and active forever home that she deserves. This sweet girl has a very friendly disposition, and is very people oriented. Cheyanne loves being around our volunteers when she’s out in the yard, and will follow along beside them as they walk. She’s always up for pets and snuggles, and she seems happiest when she is in close proximity to people. Cheyanne is a very energetic girl, too, and she loves to free roam play when she’s in the yard, so when she’s not hamming it up for attention she enjoys running around in the yard, chasing after toys, and being a general goofball. Cheyanne has a bounce in her step, and when the mood strikes her she can jump fairly high, so she’ll need a home with secure fencing around the yard. Our volunteers are working with her on her basic obedience training, and she knows her sit command, is improving on her stay command, and walks fairly well on the leash. Cheyanne will definitely benefit from continued obedience training to help her reach her full K-9 potential. To help Cheyanne be the best dog she can be, she will need a home where there are no cats. Cheyanne may also be a candidate for dock diving or agility training, as well, but will definitely need a family that can provide her with daily activity that will stimulate her physically, as well as mentally. If Cheyanne sounds like the perfect furry companion for you, please come down and meet her!
