Fido is an approximately 5-year-old male black and white Chihuahua who weighs approximately 12 pounds. This confident and somewhat independent little guy is looking for a fairly mellow home with other small buddies to play with. Fido didn’t always show the confident personality he does today. When he first came into the shelter, he was pretty shutdown and fearful, but with a little patience and a lot of love, our volunteers earned his trust and his true personality started to shine through. Our volunteers are working with Fido on his basic obedience commands, but so far it’s been a tough sell, though he does walk very well on the leash. Fido would definitely benefit from organized basic obedience training, and it would be a good way to help him bond with his new owner. If you’re interested in adopting this special guy and giving him a forever home to call his own, please come in and ask to meet Fido.

For more information about Fido, please call PALS at (209) 224-0354. We have other cats and dogs available for adoption so stop by the PALS Adoption Center located in Lodi at 1405 W.
