Flash is an approximately 6½-month-old neutered male Labrador Retriever/Doberman Pinscher mix that weighs approximately 52 pounds. This goofy and highly energetic puppy showed a tremendous amount of resiliency and strength while recovering from the Parvo Virus, and now he’s looking to find his forever family. Flash really is a big goofball, he’s still trying to grow into his body, so he can be a bit clumsy, but he always seems to be having so much fun no matter what he’s doing. He’s very people oriented, and he likes to be near you and get involved in whatever you’re doing. He’s very exuberant in his affection, too, and you can expect lots of puppy kisses from him whether you’re playing with him, petting him and giving him love, or just relaxing with him at your side. And did we mention he’s energetic? Flash has quite a bit of puppy energy, and whether it’s playing with one of our other dogs, or playing fetch, Flash enjoys, and needs, lots of daily activity. Flash is a very intelligent puppy, but he is also a headstrong puppy, so his new family will need a strong and committed handler to continue with the obedience training he’s receiving from our PALS volunteers. Flash knows sit and is working on stay, and we’ve seen some improvement from him with his leash training. If you’re interested in giving this fun loving and affectionate puppy the structure and love that he needs to thrive and be a model K-9 companion, please come down and meet him.
