Looking to refresh the Galt landscape and help unite the city with a uniform look, the Galt District Chamber of Commerce has kicked off a new citywide banner program.
The first ever banner program last year was so popular, the chamber ended up having to turn people away.
This new patriotic design will allow for banner sponsorship names at the bottom of the banner, similar to the last program, but more importantly will invite travelers driving up and down Highway 99 into town.
Banners are available to businesses, organizations, families and individuals who would like to be a part of the Galt landscape.
Banners will be placed along the main corridors of the city, including C and Fourth streets and Lincoln Way on the west side of Highway 99 and Twin Cities, Walnut Avenue and Carillion Boulevard on the east side of Highway 99.
Banners will be hung during the months of March and April and will remain on display through January 2022.
Banners are $210 each or $180 each in quantities of five or more. Deadline to order banners is Monday, March 1 or until they are sold out. Banners will be sold on a first come, first served basis, so be sure to order your personalized banner as soon as possible to ensure you get one.
Location of your banner(s) is also determined on a first come, first served basis. Banner sponsors can choose their locations, subject to availability.
This is a great advertising opportunity for local businesses, and a great way for individuals, families, organizations and businesses to show pride in our Great American Little Town.
