Bernard Krivda, 80, of Herald died Dec. 9, 2020 in Lodi. He was born Aug. 1, 1940, the middle child in a family of 11 to father Stephen, a steelworker, and mother Josephine, a homemaker. He had lived in the area for 28 years, and formerly in Los Angeles for 25 years and Pittsburgh for 20 years.
Bernard was employed in a propane business, plus 20 years with BMI/ASCAP in music business. He was a member of the Herald Porch Club, St. Christopher’s church, and Coast Guard Reserve. He enjoyed talking and telling jokes, playing and watching golf, watching the Steelers, and spending time with family on vacations. He coached his sons in basketball and soccer, 4-H and FFA.
Surviving Bernard are his wife Caroline and sons Kory and Kevin. Preceding him in death were his parents, sister Dolores, and brothers Albert, Bobby and Steven.
