Bert E. Stamp

Norbert (Bert) Edward Stamp, 49, passed away on Oct. 23, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Sacramento. He was born Feb. 3, 1970 in Lodi to Joseph Henry Stamp and Sharyn Gaye (Meenach) Stamp. He grew up with his brothers Joseph Boyd Stamp of Galt and Steven Eades, and sisters Shavonia Christine Stamp Koga of Stockton, Rachelle Stamp Dennis and Shannon Chess of Galt.

Surviving him are two sons, Justin Stamp and Norbert Edward (Eddie) Stamp II; and his 94-year-old aunt Helene Stamp. He was lucky enough to meet the love of his life, Theresa Lewis, who was definitely his soul mate and made his last seven years a storybook love. Theresa also has a daughter, Sabrina Ali, who brought him lots of joy. Norbert and Theresa lived in Sacramento. He is also survived by his nephews Joseph Stamp, Vincenzo Stamp, Brendon Dennis, Christopher Koga, and nieces Natalia Koga, Victoria Koga Eisenberg and Gianna Milton.

Bert was a graduate of Galt High School and attended American River College. He was employed as a manager with ACR Solar, and was also the PR person for the band Some Fear None. He had recently received his contractor’s license for solar systems.

Bert was cremated, and his son Eddie will be spreading his ashes at Twin Lakes in California where he and his father had the best memories ever and had decided a long time ago that this is what they both would like to see happen. Family, friends and others whose lives Bert’s life has touched are invited to attend a celebration of life. There will be a notice sent out when the date has been finalized.
