Dannie Lee Frizzell

Dannie Lee Frizzell, 80, of Galt died of natural causes on March 21, 2022 at home. He was born Feb. 8, 1942 in San Diego and had lived in Galt for 71 years.

Dannie retired after 27 years of working as a Technical Engineer at McClellan Air Force Base. He was co-owner with his wife Sheila of Sheila’s Country Rose Florist shop for 23 years. He served four years’ active duty in the Air Force, and participated in the VA, Lions Club, Chamber of Commerce, and New Hope Assembly church. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and spending time with his family.

Surviving Dannie are his wife of 60 years, Sheila (Gaydon) Frizzell; children, Paula Simkins (Ben) and Rod Frizzell (Tami); siblings, Paul Frizzell (Ril Mari) and Judy Wagner; five grandsons and 10 great grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Joseph (Cliff) and Freda (Gross) Frizzell.

A private service will be planned. Ben Salas Funeral Home of Galt is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
