Gina A. Skinner

Gina A. Skinner

On Jan. 4, 2021, Gina Anne Skinner, surrounded by angels and her loving family, passed away at the age of 39. She was born March 27, 1981 in Lodi.

Gina graduated from Galt High School and earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from CSUS. She was a nurse at UC Davis Medical Center where she worked in the ICU and recovery for 14 years.

In 2005, Gina married the love of her life, Craig Skinner. Gina and Craig were the best of friends and loved being together. They were partners in life and, among other things, enjoyed going wine tasting and taking trips to the ocean. They were inseparable and loved each other very much. Gina and Craig had six beautiful children together. Evan, Skye, Scarlette, Savanna, Sophia and Selene were Gina’s pride and joy. Her love and devotion for her family was immeasurable.

Gina had a passion for homeschooling her children and taking them on field trips. She loved going to the beach and looked forward to the annual trip to Capitola with her family.

Gina also had a very special bond and relationship with her mother, Bonnie. They were very close and spent almost every day together.

Gina was loving, kind, gentle and an extraordinarily strong woman who will be missed dearly by her loving husband Craig, their six adorable children, her devoted and loving mother Yvonne (Bonnie), her Auntie Lorraine (Raine), her mother-in-law Tina Skinner, her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Curtis and Traci Skinner, along with her nieces and many family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, Craig is requesting for you to tell and show your loved ones that you love them every day of your lives, and in Gina’s memory stay “Skinner Strong.”
