Jacqueline “Jacqui” Anderson Davy, 74, passed away on July 22, 2019 in Lodi. She was born Nov. 7, 1944 in Old Hickory, Tn.
Preceding her in death were husband Dean Davy, the man who was the wind beneath her wings; parents Jack and Hallie Anderson; and sisters Rita Torrigino and Donna Label.
Surviving her are daughter Jennifer Davy (Matthew) Stanley; grandchildren Jessica, Jacqui and Matthew Stanley; sisters Robbie Anderson Zakoor and Michele Anderson; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jacqui’s career included working at J&E Body and Paint before becoming the youngest elected City Treasurer of the City of Galt; then on to AAA, Delta Blood Bank, Van Ruiten Family Winery, Census Bureau, and finally for Tareq Ali, M.D. at Manasara Medical Spa. Although she was retired, her days at Manasara and her family gave her purpose during the last few years as complications from COPD continued to plague her.
Jacqui had moved with her family from Tennessee to live in Avenal, Calif., before moving as a young adult with her family to settle in Galt. After she and her husband Dean moved to Manteca, they relocated to Yuba City to split the commute difference for several years. She and Dean then returned to Lodi to be with her daughter and grandchildren.
Visitation and graveside services were held last weekend.
