Jimmy, as known by his friends, passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 12, 2022. He was born on Aug. 1, 1997 in California.

Jimmy was a lifetime resident of Galt. He went to Certification School of welding and then was employed as a mechanic at California Custom Trailers and California Power Sports in Lodi for one year.

Jimmy also attended Horizon Church in Galt. His hobbies included welding, bull riding, fishing, barbecuing, enjoying family and friends. He also took pride in being a hard worker as a mechanic welder.

Jimmy is survived by his mother Crystal and stepfather Tom Furey; wife, Kasey Crisp; sister, Kayla Crisp; stepsiblings, Nick and Kristen Furey; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and friends.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, Sept. 22 from 4-7 p.m., at Ben Salas Funeral Home, 149 Fourth Street, in Galt. Masks are required for entrance to the chapel.

A Celebration of Life service will be celebrated at Horizon Community Church on Friday, Sept. 23 at 11 a.m., followed by burial at Galt Cemetery.

Ben Salas Funeral Home is helping the family with Jimmy’s arrangements.
