John Larry Harrison (aka Squirt and Hoss), 53, passed away on Sept. 11, 2020 at Lodi Memorial Hospital from complications of diabetes. He was born on Dec. 6, 1966 in Fort Polk, La.
A resident of Galt, Larry was a truck driver for many years, both long haul and local. He also worked at Valley Drilling with his dad in the gas fields and water wells. He loved fishing, camping, motorcycles and quads, and had a need for speed.
Larry is preceded in death by his grandparents, Clyde and Wanda Chism, and Everett and Velona Harrison.
Surviving Larry are his parents, Larry and Adell Harrison; siblings, Tamera Dickison and her children Tim and Tanner Dickison, Cory and Allena Harrison and their son Cameron and Christina Harrison and their children Kadence and Kollin Harrison; and his dog Jacky Blue.
Special mention to his cousin, Donna Wardlow, for caring for him and his friends, Tom Guzman and Steve Cargill, who helped him get through the long nights and COVID lockdown.
