Michael A. Keener

Michael Aaron Keener, 58, of Acampo passed away peacefully at home on April 10, 2021. He was born on Sept. 16, 1962 in French Camp.

Michael was a jack of all trades and could fix anything. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, fishing, gambling, playing baseball and watching sports. His favorite teams were the San Francisco Giants and the Miami Dolphins. Friends and family alike admired his sense of humor and zest for life. Some of his fondest memories were playing baseball with his friends on the Galt Pirates where he was an outstanding first baseman.

He is survived by his mother, Margarette Keener; daughters, Erin Keener and Amber Miller; grandsons, Dillon Rempfer (17) and Aiden Fields (9); sister Deborah Amos, one nephew and two nieces. Preceding him in death were his father, John Keener; beloved sister Patty Keener; and grandparents.

A memorial service was held in his memory on April 19 for his family and friends.
