Uncle Mike was called home early morning Friday March 4. He is now with God, his mother, father, brother and sister. They are all back together and even though my family and I miss him tremendously, we all agree that he is now at peace and free.
Uncle Mike was strong, God fearing, sentimental, charismatic and darn hilarious. He taught me patience, focus and to laugh in life.
For this those that don’t know Uncle Mike’s story, he had a brain tumor at 12 years old, surgeons told him he would be lucky to see 23. He would have been 60 in May. He had the smallest probability of surviving yet he outlived his oldest and youngest sibling. We were blessed to have him as long as we did.
