Richard Kilday, 77, of Galt died in Lodi on Feb. 3, 2021 following a lengthy illness. He was born Oct. 17, 1943 in Riverside, Calif., and had lived in the area for 40 years.

Richard had been employed by the California Highway Patrol and had worked in appliance sales, as well as time served in the Army. He enjoyed playing and watching baseball.

Surviving him are his wife Elizabeth Kilday of Galt, daughter Debra and son Jon Troy Kilday; stepdaughters Sharon Pierce, Janet Hines and Amy Burrow; 13 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Ben Salas Funeral Home of Galt is assisting with arrangements.
