Ted W. Glasgow

Ted Wayne Glasgow, 74, passed away at home on July 22, 2019 from cancer. He was born Aug. 17, 1944 in San Francisco to Katherine Barsanti and Theodore Glasgow, who preceded him in death. Ted is survived by his wife, Kathleen Glasgow; daughters, Cyndi (Mark) Snyder and Kristina (Dominic) Lozano; son Gary Glasgow and daughter-in-law Lisa Glasgow; granddaughter Megan Snyder; grandsons Thomas Snyder, Tyler Snyder, Jordan Cruz and Arlen Glasgow; brothers Anthony Ragone, Paul Glasgow and Kurt Glasgow, sister Jannette Thai (Glasgow); numerous cousins, aunts, nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends that loved him dearly.

Preceding him in death were sisters Olivia Weitz and Judy Nelson.

Ted was honorably discharged from the Army National Guard in July 1970. He drove a truck for IML in the early 60s and then joined his father in the sheet metal trade for the next 32 years. Ted was a hardworking man and always provided well for his family. He was a Bay Area football and baseball fan, and enjoyed landscaping his yard, riding on his tractor, camping, boating, and hosting and attending family functions. He was a devout family man and dearly loved his dogs – Levi, Princess, Mindy and Max. Ted had a big heart, always trying to help others in need and, if he could, he would have rescued every animal not being taken care of properly.

A celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug.10 at the All Seasons Funeral Home and Chapel, 702 B Street in Galt. A reception will follow at his home in Galt. Please bring a positive mood, happy face, and be prepared to share a funny story about Ted.
