The best of our local swimmers finished out their season at the CIF Sac Joaquin Sections meet held may 3-5 at the Elk Grove District 56 pool.  They competed against hundreds of the best swimmers in Northern California and while none will be moving on to compete at the State meet, the future looks bright for our swimmers.

Galt’s Logan Rose swam in the JV 200 yard free with a time of 2:02.15.

The Hawks Savanah Westlynn competed in the 200 yard free and placed 13th with a time of 1:56.95. Westlynn also competed in the 500 yard free and came in a respectable 8th place with a time of 5:09.89.

Liberty Ranch’s Luke Ortega competed in the varsity 200 yard IM and with a time of 2:00.37 came in 19th place.   Ortega also swam the 100 Yard fly and place 17th with a 53:15 time.

The Liberty Ranch JV boys also competed in two relays.  Adam Behrmann, Flynn Rausser, LJ Munoz and Nicholas Ibanez-Garcia cam in 32nd place in the 200 yard medley and 33rd place in the 200 yard free relay.
