Galt softball coach Mikka Alvarez, a Galt High alum, puts her whole heart into coaching. This year it paid off with a win against Liberty Ranch for the first time in years. While Liberty Ranch won league, Galt dealt them their only loss the whole season. Galt High finished third in league with a 9-6 record behind Liberty Ranch and Rosemont. The players named All-League were Alyssa Hardwick, who incidentally will be attending Missouri Valley College to play softball in fall, Quinlynn Keller, Paris Alcaraz and Emily McCalla.
