Liberty Ranch baseball players helped the Hawks reach the top of the standings this year and were rewarded by the league for their dedication. Liberty Ranch ended their regular season on a high note by winning the league title. The players that were chosen from Liberty Ranch included Sierra Valley Conference MVP Mervin Cornell, Jaime Gonzalez, Shane Popoff, Louis Manning, Kenny Morgan and Josh Seiler. Head coach of Liberty Ranch Wade Isbell was also named the SVC Coach of the Year.

MVP and senior Mervin Cornell played great this year; he had an impressive 108 putouts and stole seven bases out of eight attempted. Gonzalez, a senior, ended his career with a batting average of .368 and stole 10 bases out of 13 attempted. Popoff finished his senior year with a batting average of .315 and had 37 putouts. Sophomore Manning finished his season with a batting average of .266 and had 15 putouts. Morgan finished his junior year with 80 putouts and 49 strikeouts. Seiler, in his sophomore season, finished with 52 putouts and 29 strikeouts.
