Galt High School co-ed tennis has a new head coach this season. Long time history teacher Alex Bauer has taken up the position this year.

This year’s captains are Abby Boyd, Andrew Villa and Alexa Murillo Cuevas and they are starting off the season strong.

So far, they have taken down Bradshaw Christian 6-3 and Rosemont 7-2.

Bauer is confident in his team this year. "Our girls side of the ladder is really strong this year,” said Bauer. “Adamary Herrera and Abby Boyd are tough singles players, and our girls doubles teams are strong. We also have some first-year players that are coming along really well."

Their next home match will be Thursday, April 23, against Liberty Ranch.
