The Hawks had their work cut out for them last Friday night against the Rosemont Wolverines and work they put in.

The game could have gone either way with the score tied up multiple times but, in the end, the grit of the Hawks paid off and they beat Rosemont 58-53.

Head coach Brian Chavez said the kids finished strong and played a great fourth quarter to close out the game. The Hawks outscored Rosemont 21-13 in the fourth quarter where, earlier, Rosemont outscored the Hawks in the first and third quarter.

Yousef Diab was the high scorer with 15 points, followed by Nathan Nelson with 13. Brayden Roots grabbed 11 points and Troy Jackson sank 9. Andrew Cadiz scored five, Kweisi Kumeh made three and Ryan Martin dropped two.
