Liberty Ranch Girls Soccer is off to a good start beating Livingston 5-0 and McNair 9-0.

Head coach Robert Huarte said it hasn’t been as easy as the scores show.

“Most of the games we have won are due to perseverance,” said Huarte.  “It seems like we start off a little shaky and the other teams start moving on us, but as we persevere, we are able to come out on top of it and the ladies sort it out and settle.”

Huarte said once the girls start trusting and passing to each other, things start to happen. This year there are a total of 19 girls on varsity with only six seniors.  The next home game will be Wednesday (tonight) against Colfax.
