Brady Roenspie will look to bring home some hardware as he competes in the National Finals Rodeo this weekend through next week.

A local high school student will be taking his talent to compete in the biggest stage in the country when he represents Herald at the National High School Finals Rodeo this weekend.

Brady Roenspie, a senior at Liberty Ranch High School, was picked to represent California at the National High School Finals Rodeo July 17-23 at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie Okla.

Roenspie is one of four steer wrestlers to compete for California and will compete against the top high school kids in the nation, as well as Canada and Mexico. Roenspie is the 2019/2020 District 3 steer wrestling champion, 2019 steer wrestling Challenge of Champions champion and the 2020 Red Bluff Shoot Out steer wrestling champion.
