Rogers to represent USA in World Roller Games

Maryn Rogers has been playing women’s flat track roller derby since she was 11 years old. She started with Lockeford’s little rascals Jr. coed roller derby team at age 11. At age 12, she made a competitive Jr. coed team out of Merced, called California Mayhem, and skated with Mayhem in Jr. roller derby championships in Philadelphia against the best teams in the United States.

At 16, she started skating for the Lockeford Liberator adult team. She tried out in December 2021 for a spot on the women’s national team, Team USA. She was one of 15 adult players to make the roster. She trains locally with the Liberators and is excited to represent the USA in the upcoming World Roller Games in early 2023 where she and her teammates will face derby teams from all over the world.

Rogers attends high school at Liberty Ranch where she is also a soccer and volleyball player.
