William Farren won by fall over Aaron Sampson in the 106-pound weight class, Robert Maple pinned Avrey Anderson in the 152-pound weight class and Zack Mason pinned Tomas Guerrero in the 220 weight class.
The Warriors defeated Bradshaw Christian 54-18 and lost to Rosemont 66-18.
In the six weight classes that were actually fought, the Warriors and Pride split them, turning in three wins by a fall apiece.
The Warriors’ Dominic Flores pinned Blake Nelson in the 120-pound weight class, Gabriel Ortega pinned Josh Ellis in the 170-pound weight class and Nathan Flores pinned Manny Marin in the 285-pound weight class.
Two of the Warriors went to the Colt Invitational on Feb. 1 at El Camino High School in South San Francisco, which featured 48 teams, mostly from the bay area.
Ortega and Dominic Flores competed, with Ortega going 0-2 and Flores going 3-1 to earn a spot in the championship match. Flores pinned all three of his opponents in the first three rounds, then lost by fall late in the third period to Ben Miller of McQueen High School in Nevada in the final match.
