Marcello “Marty” Romero, age 83, was born on May 12, 1938, and passed away on April 11, 2022, at Kaiser Hospital in Roseville of natural causes. He was born in Fresno to Marcelo and Dolores Moraga and lived his younger years on the family farm in Reedley until he left home for the military.

Marty was a devoted father to his five children, Marcello III, Glynis, Marlene, Denice, and Zachary; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Marty had nine siblings: Theresa, Sam, Alfred, Lorrie, Tim, Linda, Lydia, Larry and Raul. Getting together with them was always a good time. He will be greatly missed by his family. Surviving him are his children and his wife Marilee.

He will be missed by many and will remain in the hearts of his loved ones forever. Services will be held at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon on May 30, 2022.
